Take That Perform Live at Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2016

Take that have finally succumb to the Great British Festival after only 25 years by taking to the stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend to perform their new single, Cry, a collaboration with Sigma. Take That brought the sun with them to Exeter only days after recording the video with the dance act at Arena Essex Raceway. Despite being one of the UK’s most successful acts, Take That, now performing as a trio of GARY BARLOW, HOWARD DONALD and MARK OWEN, have never been asked to perform at festivals of the likes of Glastonbury. Singer Gary Barlow had announced the news during an interview with Radio 1 presenter Scott Mills. Take That have scored an impressive 12 number ones and enjoyed 28 top 40 singles and are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. Welcoming the band onto the stage, Sigma took the crowd into a frenzy with: “You know this one right? You know we’ve got to do things big? Make some noise for Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen.”

Big Weekend saw over 50,000 attendees across the two beautifully sunny days at Powderham Castle in Exeter.
